Origin of Wrinkles
After the age of 40, 1% of dermal collagen is lost annually. With this additional loss of collagen will reduce skin tone. Wrinkles, like other conditions involving the skin, have a multifactorial etiology. Excessive skin wrinkles or lines can be caused by overall dehydration, excessive sun exposure, genetics, facial expressions, muscle atrophy, hormone imbalances, nutrient deficiencies, excessive tobacco/ alcohol use, absence of cosmetic skin care and other causes.
These exposures cause elastic tissue degeneration that leads to skin aging and skin atrophy.
Injections and Face Lifting
When applying face lotions topically, there may be some problems where cutaneous absorption is important. The topical absorption process is influenced by specific factors such as skin type, the lotion's contents, and the type of inactive ingredients. Having injection therapy treatments, products can be introduced in smaller doses, which is better for the skin. All medications are completely absorbed, in an extended time frame by injection.
Treating wrinkles, as well as other aging problems, injection therapy stimulates synthesis of glycosaminoglycans and proteoglycans, collagen production, skin hydration and tissue regeneration.
It is best to incorporate injections with a comprehensive naturopathic program to correct some of the above causes.
